As the definition of "racist, homophobic, able-ist, class-ist, misogynistic hypocrite" is actually "Jan Moir" (we're still trying to get this into the OED), this does not surprise me at all.

Insinuating that domestic violence is usual in a relationship as just as vile as suggesting that as young people cannot just 'die', a dead young person has to have been doing something wrong (like, say, being married to a person of the same sex)

I hope Ms. Gonzalez-Durantez will get (at the very least) a formal apology. But I'm not holding my breath.

Perhaps it's just 'the internet' being 'mischievous' again?
