Yay, I'm glad it didn't disappoint! It's actually kind of amazing to me, given the kinds of changes I made to update it, how close I managed to stay to the general story of the original. :D Thank you so, so much!
I loved Heidi in ridiculous amounts when I was a kid, so I squeed when I saw that there was a J2 based on it. Never thought that would be possible, even.
And you've done a wonderful job with it, updating the times and changing the locations and people, but keeping the spirit of the book. Jared was just adorable, and Jensen's story was sad, and I LOVED Chad and Jeff. This will be on my list of re-reads!

Wow, thank you so much!! One of the things I was most concerned with was the pacing and progression, so I'm so glad to hear that worked. And I suspect my affection for JDM tends to come through in a lot of things I write. XD
