Hmm.
Mixed.

It's a new frontier, but I wouldn't recommend long distance.
Haha I did meet my best friend that way though, we just decided dating wasn't right but he's like my brother I talk to him everyday now..yeah it's risk meeting people off the net, but then again, I had such a blast in Vancouver and now I have some really loved ones in my life.

I've tried it and have had mixed experiences. When living in the US, I did meet someone whom I went out with for a year. We got on very well and it only ended when I decided to return to Australia. So I've learned that it can work, which is helpful, because it's also been extremely frustrating and exhausting sometimes. I've done a bit of it in Australia and for most part have had contact with some nice and interesting women, but haven't really clicked with anyone.

I have.....I didn't really intend it to be serious more just as a way to perk myself up after my divorce, but I met about 2 people out of like a thousand that I actually met and liked, or well was er......physically attracted to anyway. But.......they only were interested in sex and not dating so I passed. Now I am with someone I met IRL and it is better than anything I could have found online.
