Yes and it went badly. I never got responses and those I responded to ignored me. It was an ego shot to say the least.

Have also had mixed experiences. Met some great guys. Met some guys with whom I had no chemistry, but we became friends. Met one guy that I started an 8 month relationship with, but he chooses not to commit to anything serious (that one is tough). Met a few freaks who I will never talk to again ( ... )

"It is easy to be so in larger cities."

1.5 yr relationship that started online. Was a long-distance relationship ... wouldn't do it again.

Yes, I've tried that too. I met some really nice people, and some real creeps. I guess it's just the luck of the draw! I was disgusted at the amount of replies I got from much older (50s and up), married men, when I was in my early 20s'!!! What could we have possibly had in common??? And of course there were the crotch shots sent to me. Oh yeah, what a turn on...just what I want to see when I turn my computer on in the morning...gross...

I met all the men I ever was with online, although in chatrooms. Apparently normal dating isn't meant for me.

As for dating sites - the ones writing to me are unacceptable 90% of the time and the ones I wrote to never wrote back. Not the best way to boost up my already low ego...
