The voice brought him from his drawings and Caspian glanced up to see young Queen Lucy. Not at all disturbed by her visitation, he smiled in welcome and nodded.

Lucy returns the smile, dancing over to him and sitting in the grass beside him.

But he exhaled a deep breath at seeing the younger Pevensie brother, stern countenance relaxing into a welcoming smile, then into a sheepish sort of grin as he realized what Edmund was referring to.

"Thank you." Charcoal-stained fingertips graze lightly over the canvas, the king gazing down at his work. "Drawing was ever a respite from my studies, regardless of whether or not I was supposed to be engrossed in my lessons."

Caspian felt his cheeks flush at the praise, it meaning so much coming from one of the Pevensies. "Thank you, Edmund." Then he chuckled somewhat ruefully. "The Professor often took me to task for my inattention, but he always happily accepted the drawings I made especially for him."

Coming back from the past, he slid over a bit on the bench in silent invitation. "Do you...do you think them feasible? To rebuild Cair Paravel this way?"
