The voice brought him from his drawings and Caspian glanced up to see young Queen Lucy. Not at all disturbed by her visitation, he smiled in welcome and nodded.

"Hello, Lucy. Is...everything all right?"

Lucy returns the smile, dancing over to him and sitting in the grass beside him.

"Everything is fine. I just wanted to be certain it was you."

"I'm glad to hear it, Your Majesty."

He smiled further and slipped a bit to the left, allowing her to settle down beside him, to share the dappled shadows beneath the large tree. Glancing about, he quirked an eyebrow and glanced down at the little queen.

"But where is Trumpkin? You two are inseparable, it seems."

She gratefully sits beside him, staring at the moon above that seems to settle in the sky.

"A queen can wander on her own if she likes, you know. She does not need a chaperone. Besides, if no one accompanies me, no one will ever find out if I have been mischievous."

Lucy laughs happily. It isn't like this back in England. As a queen, she can do whatever she likes.
