Thank you! I was trying to make it a rather lighthearted piece, since it was written as a quick, pick-me-up for owlsie. I'm so happy to hear that all their gestures/looks/body language worked for you so well! I really try very hard with that.

Ah, I sold my soul to Google long ago. And as Gidget says below, they don't get evil until after we'll all dead, so I think we're cool. Happy thought, eh? ;)

(rolls in this fic) <333 my favourite parts are the Doctor's big long ramble about the Church and then River summarizing with "...I was kidnapped by Google?" and "I love it when you talk dirty." So excellent <3

Sometimes, something reminds the Doctor of what Amazon did and he pauses and for a moment -just a moment- has to remind himself that the human race is worth saving. He tends to visit Christmas afterward, as a way to cheer himself up.

I'm very happy that you liked the piece! And the Doctor and River being chased by zombies... *shudder*. I actually have a huge phobia re: zombies. Thank you very much for reading! I'm so pleased to hear that you enjoyed this. :D

Oh, this is fab! There's the wonderful wonderful main story, and then there's the purring and the lip-biting and the hints and it's both characterisation and another story and agndfgfjg. And the dialogue! And the ideas!

But to hear that you like the layered storyline and the ideas behind it is extra special to me, since I usually think my story-lines are the weakest point of my writing. I'm glad you liked the google bit. It was mainly just a poke at them since I was talking to owlsie on gmail while writing this. And I'm also glad that you liked the innuendos!
