I think it's really easy to lose your grip when the things you enjoy feel like a job. It's good that you want to go back to old interests and I think you should try writing and playing the piano if you feel like it, it doesn't have to feel like a responsability!

I agree, it gets really hard to realise how much you like doing something, especially when you're introduced to it as a responsibility (my parents made me take classes when I was younger). I can't believe it took me so many years after dropping lessons to realise that I'm actually interested in piano and dance. orz

A great "holiday" indeed!
