Me: How are we ever going to organize this stuff and get the house ready to sell?
Him: We'll just hire movers to come pack it all up for us.
Me: The idea is to have less stuff. If we move all this, we'll just be drowning in the new house.
Him: We'll hire shoddy movers and maybe they'll lose half the boxes.

Anyone good at organizing?

Is it just me, or do all our radio stations really suck? I keep trying to switch over from my fabulous indie mp3 cds and give local radio a chance, but damn! The KATT is always playing Metallica. The BUZZ only occasionally has a good song. And KJ103 is still a joke. Is there something good out there that I don't know about because I'm old now ( Read more... )

Anyone out there ever tiled anything? We're thinking about tiling our counter/backsplash and I wonder if we should trust HGTV or leave it to the experts.

Day 1 of TV Turnoff week is going well. We played outside, made a delicious broccoli rice casserole, and the girls are now playing airplanes with Daddy.

Sunday morning - hubby took the extremely energetic toddler into the living room to play so I could sleep in a bit. He came back half an hour later and woke me up just long enough to set a steaming cup of coffee on my bedside table. I love this man.
