Bi-Annual Update
Is it just me, or do all our radio stations really suck? I keep trying to switch over from my fabulous indie mp3 cds and give local radio a chance, but damn! The KATT is always playing Metallica. The BUZZ only occasionally has a good song. And KJ103 is still a joke. Is there something good out there that I don't know about because I'm old now?
We went to Ikea in Frisco last Friday and outfitted our office with actual office furniture. It feels good. I have a window in here that I forgot about, and it's been really tempting to stay home every day and telecommute. Everything will be neatly organized and I look forward to sitting down and working reading LJ.
In other news, we all have the plague. This one is the recurring sinus plague, contrasting sharply with the stomach bug I had two weeks ago that everyone else in my household managed to avoid. I think we're going to hibernate for the winter and try to keep the germ-sharing to a minimum.
