another two day weekend; no Sports Day

today is Taiiku no Hi (体育の日), so there were a few sporting events happening this weekend.  a lot of the kids around here had their Sports Day at school along with the community sports day, so there were a few times in the morning where you could hear fireworks popping off in the distance.  :)  last year, Kay had her Undoukai (sports day) at her

That one awesome slide. I bet my kids would love it. Ive never seen one around here though.
Those are some yummy looking cookies. With the cooler weather it's baking season again. After the move I'll have to start baking with the kids again.

i can soo see all of your kids sliding down that thing back to back. hope you'll be able to get to baking again. it's therapeutic sometimes as a stress reliever. :) at least for me it is! ^_^

Yumm those cookies looked delicious. And I like that you didn't put all the icing and stuff on them. Our Xmas ones I don't ice either just throw a few sprinkles on them though which is sweet enough. Sometimes icing and stuff just makes things overly sweet.

How is C-sensei doing? Has he worked? Or is he being lazy?

Kay is doing so awesome with her beading. She rocks!

About the undokai. You know what....the bright side is at least Kay got the one last year. Plus she'll get more to come, I know it. Also the bright side could be no farmer tan and no obento to make. : ) Ahh just trying to help here. : )

thanks! i actually wish i could get a hold of some colored sprinkles, but i haven't had time to check out that baking store i found the other day. we'll see about this week. :)

C-sensei is working, but i have trust issues with him, because i feel like he's one of those people who just say things to make you happy, but don't really follow through or stick to what they say... ykwim? we have a big project that's coming up that requires some video footage and editing to make a video collage. he offered to do the editing, but dunno what he will actually do... we'll see...
