today is Taiiku no Hi (体育の日), so there were a few sporting events happening this weekend.  a lot of the kids around here had their Sports Day at school along with the community sports day, so there were a few times in the morning where you could hear fireworks popping off in the distance.  :)  last year, Kay had her Undoukai (sports day) at her ( Read more... )

in my last post, i said i'd be going out with one of the moms at my daycare for a semi-get together/playdate!

( well, here's how it went! )

so, today is the last day of our winter break. tomorrow, Kay and i will be going back to the daycare. good thing it starts on a Thursday, because that's when the music and rhythm teacher comes and we're going to have soooo much fun! :D

what a busy week AND weekend! i mentioned last time that i had to work through this week without a break, because the daycare i'm working at was holding an event on Sunday. i didn't really think it would be that tiring since it was just a morning event, but it ended taking up most of my day ^_^;;
