Until further notice, this is how food is going to work:

You will take what you are given. You will be given a mark on the back of your hand when you are given food (if anyone has a permanent marker, this would be a great fucking help). You will not be allowed seconds. Even if you're fucking hungry.

Got the fire going, and Abigail and I are working on the perishables. It's a bit bloody smoky down here, but at least there's some light and heat.

I am, and it's loaded, but it's only eight rounds plus an extra clip that I fortunately happened to be carrying.

I am trying to find out if the gardens are gone or just dying. If they're not gone, well... we can harvest them and augment our food for a little while.

Also, if you like, I do know how to handle a fire or cook a little with one. Have we the means to get into the canned food?
