I had an appointment last week with a potential local replacement for my therapist who moved over the summer. Friday night I was putting up some groceries and noticed the ice in my freezer had melted. I thought I must have shoved something in there at some point and moved the dial. How do people make the logistics of obtaining a job and housing in a totally different city? Obviously I'd want to get a job first. But I'll need somewhere to stay once I do. If I haven't been paid by the new job, how will I prove that I meet the income requirements for renting an apartment or house? Do I have to live in a hotel for a month? -

What I thought was a problem with my laptop screen turned out to be more extensive and expensive, hence the multi-month disappearance. But I'm back with a new chromebook and not having to update from the library and not being super depressed right now should make writing easier. -

One of the local tattoo/piercing shops had a Friday the 13th special - $13 for several types of piercings and something like 80 tat designs. So I got my ears pierced today, both lobes and the helix on my right ear. -

I saw a guy on a motorcycle run into a cop car today. Luckily, he laid the bike down and was off before it hit. The bike was really torn up. He went down on his right shoulder pretty hard, but was wearing pants, a jacket and full helmet, so we couldn't see how hurt he really was. Met today with the guy I've been doing some intermittent work for, to discuss a new project. He thinks this could be the big one, the one that makes us all rich.
