Since they got back from their trip, Chloe and Oliver didn't really have time to go on dates, not that it really mattered, they had spent a lot of time together since Chloe was still staying with Oliver since her kidnap

Oliver followed her to the middle of the otherwise empty theater and looked around, raising his eyebrows. "You sure this is the movie you want to see?" he asked with amusement, even though he knew her love of cheesy horror flicks. He settled into the seat next to her, putting their sodas in the holders.
She sat down and moved her soda to the other side of her, grinning at him, "are you kidding me? No one else is coming to watch this, it's a cheesy, gory, awesomely bad horror movie according to the reviews, it should be fun." After everything they had seen in their lives, horror movies was most entertaining.
He smirked at her. "Is that why or did you just want to make sure we had this whole theater all to ourselves?" he teased, reaching over and taking a handful of popcorn from the bucket.
Oliver closed his eyes as he felt her lips against his jaw. Then he opened them oncce more and looked down at her, meeting her gaze and holding it. "Just wondering how I got to be so lucky."
Her chest tightened at his words, she never expected him to say the things he did, but it was always nice to hear. Chloe placed the popcorn on the seat and reached to cup his face, kissing him softly then pulling back a little, "I keep wondering the same thing."
He turned slightly in the seat, reaching up and touching her cheek, smoothing the hair back from her eyes. He'd never been good when it came to expressing his feelings for someone, but somehow she made it easy. He leaned in and kissed her softly, his thumb stroking her cheek even as the lights began to dim in the theater. He couldn't help thinking he was definitely getting the better end of the deal with their relationship, but he didn't voice that. Instead he leaned his forehead against hers for a moment, a content smile on his face.
She touched his nose with his for a moment and smiled, leaning in and kissing him again for a second before pulling back and smiling again. They had been together for almost a month and she knew it wasn't that long, but the fact that she still had butterflies in her stomach when he looked at her like that made her feel like there was something really right about this relationship.
Oliver felt her relax beside him even more and smiled, occasionally reaching over to grab some popcorn from the bucket. He'd never been on a 'normal' date before. Not even with Lois. It had always been a big production--big sweeping gestures to impress. And while he'd done that with Chloe, too, the realization that she really didn't care what they did--whether it was just hanging out at one of their apartments, or going to a regular movie theater, or being swept away to Chicago for a fancy dinner--was a godsend all by itself. And it wasn't that Oliver didn't enjoy the big sweeping gestures. To be honest, he'd always been a bit of a romantic at heart. But Chloe gave him something he'd never really had before: normalacy. And that was new and appreciated.
They watched the movie in silence for the most part, occasionally laughing out loud at the absurdities in the screen and commenting on it, Chloe made a mental note to tell Oliver about her first hand horror movie experience with sorority after the movie.
She glanced over at him and couldn't help but smile at the relaxed look on his face. That was the whole point of the night.
Chloe laughed again and shrugged a shoulder, "overpaid Hollywood writers? Maybe we should write a more realistic version of a horror movie." She grinned and raised her eyebrows.
She glanced at the screen and shook her head before turning back to look at him, "possibly, but that wouldn't be nearly as much fun as writing it with you."
Once they made it back to the clock tower, Chloe started gathering some of her things too, she still had the suitcase from their trip, which Bart had brought over after they got back from the hospital and a couple of bags of things, she didn't want to take everything back to her place, after all, she planned on spending many nights at the clock tower still, so she sorted through some of them and picked the clothes she thought she was going to need the most.
Oliver raked a hand through his hair as he pulled out some clothes for the next morning, as well as his Green Arrow gear, tucking them carefully into his suitcase. He glanced at her sideways as she sorted through the things she'd left there, packing some of them up, as well. "You don't want to leave that stuff here?" he asked curiously.
Chloe glanced over at him and smiled softly, shrugging, "not all of it? I need some of these things, but I'm leaving a couple of them, you should probably pack some extra stuff too so you can leave it at my place for when you need it." She wanted to make sure he felt welcomed to her place as much as she did here.
"Right," he murmured, watching her for another moment before gathering a few more articles of clothing, then heading into the bathroom to get some things from there, as well.
