Since they got back from their trip, Chloe and Oliver didn't really have time to go on dates, not that it really mattered, they had spent a lot of time together since Chloe was still staying with Oliver since her kidnap

Chloe paused and raised her eyebrows, nodding a little as she adjusted her purse, "yeah, I'm okay." She smiled softly at him and followed him into the elevator.
He gazed at her for a moment, then pushed the down button. "I love you," he said quietly. Saying the words helped ease his guilt a little, because even if she wouldn't like what he was doing, he was doing it to keep her safe. Those words reminded him of why.
She frowned a little, surprised by his words then nodded, still watching him, "I love you too," she answered quietly, not sure what was going on but forcing herself not to ask.
When the elevator doors slid open, Oliver led the way to his car once more, placing their suitcases in the tiny trunk and moving over to Chloe, pausing. He held the keys up. "You want to drive?"
Chloe frowned a little and nodded, looking at him and getting into the elevator, all the possibilities going through her head as they made their way to her floor, whatever it was, it wasn't good.
He drew in a breath and led the way down the hall to her place, waiting for her to unlock the door. Once she did, he set their suitcases down in the living room. Then he rubbed a hand over his face. "Coffee?"
She took a moment to look around her apartment then turned to look at him, meeting his eyes, curiosity making her anxious. She didn't want coffee, she wanted him to tell her, "I'm okay."
"Right," he murmured, moving to sit down on the sofa. "You're not going to like this," he admitted, resting his elbows on his knees and looking up at her, a guilty expression on his face.
Chloe frowned hard at him, now he wasn't making any sense, "I don't have problems asking for help when I need it, like I did last week when I didn't feel safe being here by myself, but things have gotten better since and I think you need to calm down."
A knot formed in his stomach at her words and he momentarily wondered if he was overreacting. Then an image of her being dragged away at gunpoint flashed through his mind and he shook his head, turning away from her and shutting his eyes. He raked a hand through his hair, his shoulders tense. "Gotten better for you maybe," he muttered.
At that, she paused, for a second wondering if maybe this wasn't all about her safety. Chloe took a deep breath and sighed, willing herself to calm down, "what do you mean?"
He turned to look at her once more, his expression clouded with so many emotions it made it difficult to decipher one from the next. "Do you have any idea what that was like for me?" His voice was quiet. "Watching those men drag you away at gunpoint and me being unable to even help you? I thought you were going to die, Chloe."
Oliver held her gaze for a long moment, then let out a breath, looking away once more. "Fine. I'll have Victor design a panic button on your cell phone." His voice was tense.
"That works for me." She did her best to keep her voice even, neutral, even if she knew he was less than happy with this decision. She hated this, hated him doing things behind her back, hated him being as stressed and worried as he was right now, but what she hated the most was them arguing. This was only their second fight and already, she couldn't make things better.
Oliver forced himself to take a deep breath. He needed to blow off some steam, get rid of his frustration and anger and even a tiny bit of resentment he couldn't help but feeling. "I need to patrol." His voice was quiet and he picked up his suitcase, setting it on her sofa and unzipping it.
Chloe nodded, walking over to her own suitcase, "okay," she didn't like being grateful for him leaving, but she needed to be away from him for a while and if his actions were anything to go by, he felt the same way. Picking up her suitcase, Chloe made her way towards her room.
