Good-bye China
This time tomorrow I will be on a plane, ending my trip in China. I'm currently on the computer at my hostel and am about to run out of money so I'll just clue you in to what to expect in the future from this blog, in no particular order ( Read more... ) -

I bought my ticket home!
I will be returning Thursday, June 22nd, 2006, at 5:52pm.
This is a huge weight of my shoulders and I feel like I can really enjoy my last 27 days here, I'm going to make them count!

Hanging Temple and Country Teaching
We currently have May Holiday, since May 1st is Labor Day. So we have the week off. On Monday I went to a nearby mountain to see a temple with Kiri and Che Nan. This is probably the most intersting temple I've been to, it is built on a bride spaning two mountains. You might recognize it from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Chengde (Chung-DUH)
Last weekend I went to the beautiful Chengde, with two friends, Julie and Kristin.
Chengde is most famous for the Imperial Summer Resort, which I didn't get to see because of train difficulties. I did have a lovely time visiting another Drake friend Stephanie and seeing the sites. We had really good weather. Our trip started at 7ish when we ( Read more... ) -
Really Overdue

Anniversarry
So it is my one year Anniversary of coming to China. I thought I'd reflect on the last year as it pertains to my time in China through this meme. So when you see 2005 it really means the period of time between February 25th, 2005 to February 25, 2006.
