[Today, Miyabi had finally made the trip she wanted to make to the ocean to see it for the first time. She had sized herself up for the quick journey via the teleporters (the one Asch and Luke broke should be fixed by now. 8|) but made the journey alone. It wasn't just to enjoy the scenery this time, even if it was beautiful, but to sit and think.

Sure enough, once it landed in front of her, it told her Miyabi's message. The wolf nodded, then turned and ran out towards the ocean. She sure hoped this company didn't want to swim. Ammy has had bad memories of dealings with the ocean.
Thankfully, Ammy has been here and has explored enough to know that there's a teleporter, otherwise it'd take her quite a while to get there. With how fast she already is, it only takes a few minutes for her to step out of the fort at the beach and look down the sandy shore. Is her company nearby?]

She has her eyes closed, so Miyabi doesn't see the wolf come close at all. All she seemed to want to do was sleep, or relax in the sun and forget about everything else.]

Ammy walks on over to her, though she hurries her steps since the sand is hot and the traction is poor against against her paws. Once she reaches her, she gives her a good stare for a moment.
Now. Should she poke her or headbutt her.]

Thankfully, though, neither will have to happen. Miyabi can sense something close to her after a while, and she opens her eyes, rubbing the exhaustion out of them. She hummed when she saw her goddess face, and reached up to stroke her head affectionately and with a bit of thanks.]
There you are.

Give her some time, and eventually she'll notice her friend laying on the sand.]
Miyabi-chin... hey!

Keimi? [She spies the mermaid off in the shallows and hurries to meet her. Thank goodness she had dressed in something more fitting for the beach - a bathing suit and a colorful wrap she tied around her hips - so she wasn't afraid of getting wet.] I didn't know you got out of the hospital already! I'm so glad to see you're okay!

Count me in. Anything's got to be better than sitting around and waiting until nightfall!
[In fact, if Miyabi's paying attention, she might also spot a few sketches of star constellations and bamboo stalks dotting the page's borders. Issun never met a festival he didn't like except maybe that sacrificial one.]

Hm...maybe a wish wouldn't be so bad to make. And perhaps...]
We can spar or paint until nightfall, then you can teach me how to make stars!
[Miyabi had always wanted to learn that. Painting a star in the sky was perhaps the hardest thing to do - for her at least. Harder even than some of the brush skill themselves.]

[If amusement could be conveyed through writing, Issun's would be dripping with it - creating a star in the sky was both the first "drawing" he'd ever done for Ammy, and the first Celestial power she'd ever shown him.]
Don't tell me you're aiming for the power of the gods, too? In that case, let the magnificent Issun take you under his wing!

I know a few of their skills already, but if you can teach me more, I'd be honored to call the magnificent Issun my teacher!
[The sarcasm, can you feel it?]

I miss the snow. [Among other things.] ...This heat's not something I'm used to. It's really bad today, especially.

[Your question alone can make Vash guess there's something wrong.] Feeling a little homesick?

...I guess so, a little. [A lot. And there was a whole lot more.] I'll be fine though. So, please, don't worry.

Piano? [That's the thing at Sanji's restaurant, right? ...The thing Brook played...] Can you still play it?
