Celia Finally Gets Hitched
I took so many pictures of this wedding that I had to give it its very own post! Celia Gates met Seth Nigel and promptly kicked out her boyfriend of 20 simdays and got engaged to Seth. It was love at first sight!
I wanted her to have a really big wedding, but there weren't many people to invite! Celia's best friend is Harmony Clock, and she's really good friends with Stephen Clock too. So naturally, Harmony and Stephen were the bridal party. Sam was the ring bearer; he is Celia's son after all. But the only other friends that Celia has are lovers and ex-lovers! Out of 14 friends, only 2 were not lovers. That's just plain silly! Seth didn't have any friends at all, so that didn't help much.
I could have invited the other playables in the town, but that wouldn't make much sense. Just because I know my neighbors doesn't mean that I would invite them to my wedding! So Stephen and Harmony Clock are the only guests. I should have had them bring their son Liam along since he's best friends with Sam, but I didn't think about it at the time. Darn! Anyway, moving on...
Celia and Seth had their intimate wedding on a beautiful spring day during week 5 (simday 32 to be exact). They held the entire event in their own backyard. I really want to use that cute church in the City Center for a wedding, but I didn't think that Celia was the type of girl to want a church wedding.
Stephen and Harmony Clock had a really fun time at the wedding, as you can see. They are way too cute together.
Stephen gave a very moving speech to the newlyweds.
