Sorry it took me longer to get this update out. I spent entirely too much time setting up the scenery, getting the teeny-boppers all dolled up, and posing them. I took time to have a little fun too, heehee! But I think it was all worth it because these kids had a great prom!
The week 5 high school prom took place on simday 34 right before Max Clock graduated. The event was held in the gymnasium of the brand new Little Hollywick Public High School, which I will probably give you a tour of later on once it is officially in use. Those in attendance and their dates were:
Max Clock and his girlfriend, Danielle Pons (townie)
Ella Clock and Dewey Dingle
Oliver Clock and girlfriend, Susie Dingle
Huntley Clock and Annie Thayer (townie)
Sam Gates and Celeste Sellers (townie)
A sumptuous buffet was provided for the teens. But the kids just wouldn't sit still to eat! They kept getting up to go to one another's tables or to go out on the dance floor. That's pretty realistic though. I remember kids coming over to my table at prom just to chat. Here Huntley Clock and his date, townie Annie Thayer, come over to chit chat with Oliver, Ella, Dewey and Susie.
And what would a prom be without dancing? Get ready for dancing spam!
Like every other prom in the history of the world, the teens danced all night long. Although in one of those pictures you can see that Max Clock stole a kiss from his girlfriend, townie Danielle Pons. You can also see Sam Gates and his blind date, Celeste Sellers, got off to a rocky start and just didn't seem to have much in common. I say blind date because Dewey Dingle, actually set Sam up with Celeste. Sam didn't have a girl to go with, but Dewey knew Celeste and he set them up. They have 2 bolts, so it was perfect at first.
In true teenage girl fashion, BFF's Susie Dingle and Ella Clock head off to the bathroom together to freshen up their makeup, gossip, and giggle. They spend so much time in there that their poor dates (Oliver Clock and Dewey Dingle) take a seat on the bleachers while all the other kids have a blast on the dance floor.
Meanwhile, other kids are getting lucky with their dates. Huntley Clock and Annie Thayer start kissing on the dance floor and then sneak off to the cafeteria so they can continue this activity in private. Annie thinks she's falling in love with Huntley! Romance is definitely in the air on prom night!
Susie Dingle finally comes out of the bathroom and ends up making out with her boyfriend on the bleachers. Oliver doesn't mind one bit. Where's a chaperone when you need one?
Sam Gates finally seems to be having some luck with his blind date, Celeste.
But as often happens at these things, teens start developing feelings for people that they are not currently dating! So Dewey Dingle discovers that he actually really likes Celeste, and wishes he hadn't set her up with Sam. In fact, he's attracted to her way more than he is to Ella Clock. (He has a 82 ACR with Celeste and only a 47 with Ella.) Nothing happens between these two that night, but I have feeling Dewey and Ella won't be together forever like I had hoped!
Also reevaluating her relationship is Susie Dingle. She's currently dating Oliver Clock, but once she lays eyes on Sam Gates it's all over. She last saw him when she
kicked his butt in soccer, but she doesn't remember him being so cute! It must be the tux. Susie and Sam have a 104 ACR, compared to her 59 with Oliver. There was no stopping these two!
Susie and Sam snuck off to a corner in the deserted hallway. Sam got his first kiss from Susie that night, and his frist makeout session too. But while they were getting hot and heavy, Celeste happened to find them and she ran and got Oliver. I really thought the fur would fly once Oliver found his girlfriend kissing another guy, but surprisingly, he didn't even seem to care! I was a little disappointed, but it shows me that they really shouldn't be dating. If you don't even care that your girlfriend is cheating on you right in front of your face, maybe you don't really want her as a girlfriend. I have a feeling you will see a breakup next time we play Oliver or Susie.
On to a happier topic! The Week 5 Homecoming King and Queen are: Oliver Clock and Ella Clock! I did a little tally of whom each teen would vote for. The only rule was that they couldn't vote for themselves and their relationship scores is what I used when deciding who they'd vote for. So with 5 votes, Ella Clock became the Homecoming Queen. Oliver Clock was voted Homecoming King with a total of 4 votes.
The runner-ups for Queen included Susie Dingle with 4 votes and Annie Thayer with 1 vote. And for King the runner-ups were Dewey Dingle and Huntley Clock tied with 2 votes, and Max Clock and Sam Gates tied with 1 vote each.

While getting all of the teens ready for the prom, the boys spontaneously did this. Everyone thinks Susie Dingle is hot, except for her boyfriend Oliver Clock, who can't help but notice how pretty his own sister is!
And I told you, there's no keeping Susie and Sam apart! After seeing him at the prom, Susie can't stop thinking about him!
I know this post was all over the place, but I hope you had fun anyway! This prom was lots of work, but lots of fun to create. I already can't wait for the next one. I'm debating on whether or not to do a graduation special for Max, since he technically graduated from high school at the end of this week...but we'll see!
