French chicken in a pot from Cooks Illustrated. This is my favorite way to prepare chicken. It literally yields the most moist, chickeny chicken I've ever had. EVER. I got these plastic mold things from a Japanese store for making shaped hard-boiled eggs . For bento boxed lunches I think. Anyways, they were fun! I specifically bought jumbo eggs since the large eggs didn't work very well (not enough volume). My labmate grew some broccoliflower in her backyard and gave me a head. So cool! We kept on referring it as "the vegetable.... FROM SPACE!" I mean seriously, a fractal veggie, it can't get any cooler than that.

So I checked out the Whimsical Bakehouse from my local library b/cI wanted to try this whole melted chocolate technique. Not that its hard to melt chocolate and pipe it out, but the book really gave great directions. So I figured I'd practice it for the first time for superbowl sunday and make a bunch of footballs.
