Well, I'm at work and bored as hell, so I figured I might as well update this thing.

After about a week I finished up my drywall assignment and got a call from my other temp agency about clerical work. They offered my a 2-week assignment at J&M Heating and Cooling working as a receptionist/dispatcher, and I jumped at the chance to be in air- ( Read more... )

The clerical place hasn't called me back yet, but the manual labor place hired me on the spot, and today I had my first day of work in over a year.

Apparently, the way these temp places work is that you get there at around 6 in the morning, sign a sheet on the counter and then get sent off on an assignment (first come, first serve). The pay ranges ( Read more... )
