It is. It's so frustrating. Between the insurance and the co-pays it's probably somewhere between 10 and 15 percent of my income. I do have good, comprehensive insurance, but I don't have access to sliding-scale programs for the girls that I'd otherwise be eligible for because of where I work. :P
Ugh, I know, and all the more so now after that whole "well, we don't want to SAY it's MRSA, but that's basically how we're treating it..." thing I went through the last several months.

That line really got me. This entire piece is excellent, but the not-knowing, the soldiering-on-through...it's rough and you convey it really well.
