Forever Yours ..♡
            Chapter 1

“Tegoshi! What the fuck … ? What are you doing here!?”, Ryo shouted and looked angrily at the younger man who stood uncertain in the door.

Tegoshi Yuya looked down. Then he said with low but clear voice:
“Ano .. Nishikido-kun .. I bring you your personal organizer. You left it behind in the meeting room.”

“Wow, Tegoshi, I really can’t live without my planner”, Ryo commented with tongue-in-cheek.

Tegoshi didn’t give up to try to have a normal chat with Ryo.
“Nishikido-kun, have you already heard about our appearance in Hey Hey Hey next time? It’s great, isn’t it? There’ll be a lot of other Johnny’s. You’re better in dancing than me, ne? Could you practice with me sometime?”

Ryo stared in silence at a point somewhere in the empty room. Then, without any warnings, he gazed at Tegoshi and began to speak.

“Tegoshi, have you nothing to do? Do you have to annoy me? Do you really want to? Sure, I heard about our appearance, I’m part of your band, you know? And I’m not happy about it ‘cause I have many other problems to think about. So, I haven’t any time to practice with you. And now, please go and leave me alone.”

He adverted his eyes on a magazine which laid on the table in front of him. He didn’t want to look up because he knew that Tegoshi was still there in the doorway and gave him a confused look.

“Nishikido-kun .. If you have any problems, you can come talk to us ..”

Tegoshi stepped in the room and was about to close the door when Ryo shouted “GO!” and stood up. Tegoshi got frightened by the sudden call and jumped back. But he stumbled over his own feet and fell against the table. A vase of flowers which stood on the table fell to the ground and fragmented into a thousand little pieces.
Ryo stood there without any movement.

“TEGOSHI!”, a sudden cry appeared. In the next second Massu rushed into the room and kneeled down next to Tegoshi who sat on the ground.

“Tegoshi, get up”, Massu said and helped the younger man to get on his feet.
Tegoshi’s shirt was wet at the border from the water in the vase. Massu picked up the flowers which laid on the floor. He ignored Ryo.

“Are you okay?”

“Hai, sorry Massu, I don’t want to cause you trouble. I’ve only a bit of headache because my head crashed against the table-leg. You don’t have to worry about me.”

“I think, we should get a new vase for the flowers, ne? They are really beautiful.”

“Sure. Nishikido-kun, did you buy them yourself?”

Ryo stood there wordless and watched only the situation. Without waiting for Ryo’s answer, Massu pulled Tegoshi at his sleeve out of the room.

“Ryo, we’re back in a few minutes, we’re going to get a new vase and a headache tablet!”

**********

“Tegoshi, what happened?”

Massu looked expectant at him. Tegoshi smiled slightly before he answered.

“Nothing, Massu. Nishikido-kun didn’t do anything. I was just clumsy like always and moved backwards without looking. I said already that you don’t have to worry.”

Massu sighed. He couldn’t believe that nothing had happened.
They walked into the kitchen. Massu opened the cupboard and grabbed two glasses and a package with tablets.
Then he poured water into both glasses. In one of them he put the tablet and gave it to Tegoshi.

“I think, this should help you”, he grinned.

“Thank you, Massu, you’re too good to me”, Tegoshi smiled back and took a sip.

“Gosh, that’s terrible!”, he declared while he put the glass on the counter.

Massu laughed. “Tegoshi, that’s your punishment for always being so clumsy!”

Tegoshi gave him a pouty look.

“Massu, you’re not fair. I can’t help it.”

He quaffed his medicine and grimaced.

“Okay, we can go. I’ll take this glass as vase. I think it answers the purpose as well, don’t you think?”

Tegoshi nodded and walked towards the door. Both of them went side by side down the corridor. In front of Ryo’s door Massu could feel his friend’s hesitation.

“Tegoshi, please go ahead to our room and have a rest. I’ll return soon, okay?”

Tegoshi hesitated again. But then he smiled and said:

“Okay Massu, I count on you”, he twinkled and went down the corridor.

Massu waited until Tegoshi turned around the next corner. He looked at the sign. ‘Dress Room’. He hadn’t got a clue why Ryo stayed in here. There was no reason for his behaviour. Normally all of NewS would be in their lounge and spent their rare free time together during work.
Massu knocked but didn’t wait for an answer and entered the room.

Ryo looked up with a more calm face expression. Massu didn’t give him a glance and placed the small glass onto the table. He took the flowers and put them into the new ‘vase’.

“Where’s Tegoshi?”, Ryo asked and Massu could hear the anxiety in his voice.

“Tegoshi went to the lounge. He has to relax himself”, he answered calculating.

“He’s ok, isn’t he?”

“Ryo, what happened between the two of you? Tegoshi hadn’t told me anything and I just couldn’t believe that he was SO clumsy and stepped back without looking. You can’t tell me that. And I want to know what’s going on here.”

Ryo kept silent for a while.

“Massu, I .. I can’t talk about that with you.”

Massu gave him a freezing look. He walked towards Ryo. “What have you done to Tegoshi?”

“You know, today’s not one of my best days. I was very angry .. ‘cause I got a call this morning ..”
Ryo seemed to be confused. Massu regretted the rough mode in which he had spoken with Ryo and asked more friendly:

“Ryo, do you have any problems? Do you want to talk?”

“No, it’s nothing important. Don’t worry.”

“Why do all people say ‘Don’t worry’?”, Massu asked and shook his head.

“Ano .. I wasn’t in a good mood before, okay? So, I vented my whole wrath on Tegoshi. And now I’m really sorry for it.”

“But what happened that he stepped back, Ryo? That couldn’t be all!”

“I shouted at him. Very loud. And very unkind. I’m so sorry for the situation and the trouble I caused.”

“You shouted at him and he was so frightened that he stepped back and fell? Ryo, I couldn’t believe it. You are always so nice to Tegoshi. Damn, what’s got into you?”

Ryo kept silent.

“Ryo, you have to apologize to Tegoshi. You know you have to. He is in the living room. I think nobody else will be there except me and Tegoshi.”
“Maybe later.”

Massu left the room. Ryo could hear his steps on the empty corridor. Yes, he should go and apologize for his behaviour. But he just felt as if he couldn’t move. He sat there another while. He looked down at the magazine he read before. He didn’t remember anything of an article he picked up. With confusion he noticed that the magazine was the wrong way around. He’d read all the time the magazine upside down!

Ryo, you’re so stupid, he thought. How couldn’t you notice it to read an article upside down? How couldn’t you notice that you haven’t read a single word?

He slapped himself lightly onto his forehead.

This call. This damn call. It makes me just crazy! I can’t think of anything else. Just now I’m hurting the people around me although I don’t want to. I can’t think a single thought to the end. It’s terrible! What shall I do? I can’t do nothing ..

Ryo stood up. The first thing he had to do was surely to sort things out with Tegoshi. He was his bandmember. And he was his friend. Ryo just couldn’t leave Tegoshi behind like this.
Ryo looked onto his watch. 17.35. It was yet three-quarters of an hour since Massu left his room. The other members were already out to eat or something like that. He glanced through the window because the sun were still shining although it was late afternoon. He noticed Shige and Koyama outside the window. They were like little figures because Ryo was in the second floor. But although they seemed to be far away Ryo could see clearly that Koyama talked a lot while Shige just walked with him and listened. It was a scene he had often seen. Normally it would make him smile about Koyamas naivety. But today wasn’t normal. He watched a second longer before he went straight-faced out of the room.
Ryo walked down the long corridor and turned around the corner.

Why is the living room that far away from our dressing room?, he asked himself while walking. It hasn’t any sense.

He stopped in front of the next door. ‘NEWS’ was printed in big letters on the sign which was on the left side of the door. He listened but he couldn’t hear a sound. So he knocked slowly and thoughtful. Nobody answered. Ryo got disquietingly. Massu answered always if anyone knocks at the door. He got teased up a long time with this habit from the other members.
Ryo opened the door slowly and looked through the space into the room. He gawped surprised at the inside. Nobody was there. No Tegoshi, no Massu.
But the room was a mess. The pillows laid on the ground although Massu got nerved everytime they aren’t on the sofa. A glass with tomato juice on the table was dumped and the juice dropped onto the floor. A book was thoughtless thrown on the earth. But Ryo could see Massu’s jacket on the wardrobe.

“Massu?”, he called. “Tegoshi!”

No one answered him.

“What the fuck … ?”, Ryo entered the room and noticed the chaos. He was confused. Really confused. He ran like the wind to the kitchen and got a cloth. He sprinted back and wiped up the tomato juice.

Tomato juice. Tegoshi loves it. Why does he dump it and doesn’t care about? It’s so not natural. And Massu. He hates chaos!

Ryo threw the cloth away. Then he brought his mobile phone out of his pocket. They weren’t any new messages. Either any missed calls. Ryo dialed quickly Massu’s number and waited.
The sound of the normal tooting calmed him down. Suddenly he heard a well-known melody. ‘Ai Ai Gasa’. Massu’s ring tone. He figured out that Massu had forgot his phone in his jacket because the tone came from the wardrobe. He sighed. Where the hell were Massu and Tegoshi? He felt like he haven’t the ability to speak with Tegoshi but he managed to dial his number and called him.

The user of this phone is currently not available. Shall we call you …

Ryo hung up. He hadn’t a good feeling now. He was excited. What had happened?

What the hell had happened with Massu and Tegoshi!?
