My mom talked about some of my dads Vietnam experiences to me tonight. She told me when his base was blown up and the mess hall destroyed obviously they had no food. The Red Cross came in and tried to charge them for donuts and coffee? Interesting. He also made it into a foxhole just in time during an attack.
