In case anyone wonders, orlando_watch was not updated yesterday because my power went out. Between my fear that my little travel alarm wouldn't wake me up in the morning, the heat, and a cat who is terrified of thunder, I don't think I managed to sleep more than 45 minutes straight at any time last night ( Read more... )

That's not a good way to start a Monday :) I hope it gets better.

I meant to ask, did all that flooding affect you?

Not me personally (unless you count the morning I practically had to wade to the bus stop). I do know several people with flood damage to their basements and cars, though.

They're predicting more storms for tomorrow. Whee.

day for moi? hmm movies heat and movies. That sums up my day today.OH! and I made cookeies. :)

Anytime the power goes out and I have to dress by candlelight I always think of Little House on the Praire. Hope your 4th is a wee bit dryer!!
