powerless
In case anyone wonders, orlando_watch was not updated yesterday because my power went out. Between my fear that my little travel alarm wouldn't wake me up in the morning, the heat, and a cat who is terrified of thunder, I don't think I managed to sleep more than 45 minutes straight at any time last night.
As I was getting dressed by candlelight this morning, I decided to wear a new pair of shoes. This turned out to be unwise, as they are too big. So far I've stuffed newspaper in the toes and stuck band-aids on my heels. This helped, but the newspaper squeaks when I walk. Also, thanks to the candlelight, I am wearing a bit more blush than usual.
