There is a wake going on downstairs and I can't help but feel that the collective chanting of the monks induces a feeling of calm. Not because I feel sympathy for the families and friends. But because their repetitive chants listened to for a while genuinely induce a state of calmness and trance.

I got freaked out, because for the third time in a row I meet the same Special Girl from a special school on the same Bus. The first two times last week she asked me for the time, but yesterday she finally decided to talk and sit next to me. OKay yesterday I had learned that my new chef's brother was in ICU because of a drink driving accident. He is still in a Coma, and I DO NOT PRAY that he gets out of it alive. I Just hope on the basis of luck that he does get out of it. As you will see Praying and miracles is statistically unproven and in fact causes more stress on the patient..

So DVD girl came over yesterday, oh yeah others buy frm her because cos so far all that she has sold to them for $4 had no problems unlike the ones you buy in Johor/Malaysia. So basically I went to work and found out that our next door neighbour committed suicide, he hung himself and left a suicide note.
