I'm gonna sound dumb coz I don't know what u call it but...
Yesterday at work I had to get something from the "ceiling compartment" where we keep empty boxes, but I couldn't find it so I had to dig deeper and eventually and I had to walk on the partition. It's not my first time doing this but I tripped slightly and then carelessly stepped on the partition without the floorboard support and then literally collapsed 7 or 8 feet through the false ceiling and landed on my right back. I am damn lucky in that the main impact point was not directly on my spine or head or things could have been different. When I heard about my X-ray results I started laughing and so I got some booze after that and called it a night. But I'm really thankful for the emotional support from my mom, aunt and boss. I would also like to thank my bodily fat around that area that that the only external injuries I sustained was the sharp graze on my back. I really thought it was a lot worse based on everyone's reaction at the scene!!!!!!!!
All though my boss says it's not my fault I really feel terrible about the damage done to the workplace. A lot of things were broken and there would have been lot of cleaning up to do... and everyone in the office has been really busy and tied up with other things. I wish I could have done better, really. Because I really wasted a lot of people's (both customers and colleagues) time because of a lame incident like this.
note: it obviously hurts when I sneeze, cough or when taking a dump.
