Eric called me this morning, letting me know that he's been thinking of me and that he's headed back to Torrance tonight. He's leaving Sequoia around 8pm, after one last hike.   My goodness, it's soooo good to be home. Spent all night last night hanging out with Lance, James, and Ami. We went to Dong Hae to eat sushi, then to Santa Maria to see The Proposal. Then after James and Ami left, Lance and I drove to Kerry's house and talked with her in her front yard until 3am.

I love my friends so much.

  So Eric's grandma is doing better. She has surgery scheduled for tomorrow, a lumpectomy [I think]. It's an outpatient surgery, so she'll be home tomorrow night. Eric's mom, his brother Bryn, and his sister Aurora are all at Thora's right now, staying until Thursday. Eric's coming up tomorrow, and he's going to stop off in Lompoc for a few hours.   So I passed both my Child Studies and my English 102 classes with a B's, which makes me happy. I wish I would have gotten A's, but B's will get me by for the time being. Worst case I can retake them later to get a better grade.

  Went to see Star Trek with James, Sandy and Delcie yesterday, and I must admit that I liked that movie a lot more than I thought I would. It was actually pretty amazing.   Got some time to kill before class tonight. I was able to finish a 13-page research notebook for Child Studies in two days. I am so proud of myself.

  I am pleased to report that Disneyland was a success! Even though neither Eric or I were feeling 100% yesterday, we were able to make it to Disneyland and have an awesome day.

  Got to Los Angeles last Friday, and so far the trip has been awesome.
