Debating a nap....
Went to see Star Trek with James, Sandy and Delcie yesterday, and I must admit that I liked that movie a lot more than I thought I would. It was actually pretty amazing. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto were very sexy [mayhaps I have a thing for guys with pointy ears??], and I almost died when I saw Simon Pegg come on the screen. Shawn of the Dead! Ah!
Went to the doctor for a Well Woman's exam and to get my second guardisil shot today. My arm feels like it's about to fall off, but at least now I won't get cancer. I also got prescribed a medication to protect my kidneys from my diabetic meds today, too. Hopefully this kidney protector won't give me the side effects the other ones did.... that was ugly.
There's only a week left of this semester! I am so excited I could pee. We already took our final in Child Studies, but we have to show up for class on Thursday anyway, school regs or something. I'm a little irritated at my ECS teach, though. She keeps leaving out grades for assignments that I know I've turned in. I've brought this to her attention, but she keeps forgetting to put it on blackboard. Hopefully she won't forget when she turns in final grades.
I was able to convince Eric to come to Lompoc for a few days during the summer. He'll be here June 22nd thru the 26th, and I've been trying to plan lots of fun things for us to do. I was thinking of going to Santa Barbara for a day and spending time at the zoo and the beach, and of course we have to hit up the Flower Festival. Trying to think of things to do in this town is almost impossible, though.
