Whew, it's been an exhausting year already. I'm still working on the trial of starts and stops. It's been set at least 4 times and has yet to proceed. Almodovar's Latest - a Clear Thumbs Up
Most of you know by now that I utterly love most of Pedro Almodóvar's work. His latest film Broken Embraces (Los Abarasos Rotos). The synopsis of this new film was not very tantalizing, but there was nothing better playing that we haven't already seen, and Variety gave it an interesting review. Post Turkey Cooking
So today is a bit of a mini baking day. Got rid of an insidious program on the Windows side of the Mac Platform. Some antivirus software kept demanding to be purchased and I looked up some stuff to find that it was a hoax. NY Restaurants
I have a friend visiting NY this weekend who is looking for "great little restaurants that aren't so full of tourists. Price ranges from 30 -50$ per person w/out liquor."
Suggestions? Ideas? They are staying in Manhattan. -
Post Turkey Day Stuff
Well, things could have gone horridly wrong, but they didn't. You see, I've never ever made turkey before. That's what TOM is for. Annoyed
It frosts me that many restaurants that post their menus online give short-shrift to their dessert menus. Granted Americans are obsessed with obesity, dieting, and eating healthy. My problem is that when stressed, I tend to eat far too much crap that's bad for me and I'm working on turning the corner with it ( Read more... ) -
Sleep Blessed Sleep
I must have worked myself to exhaustion this week. Got up at 3 am yesterday to drive home only to experience vehicular problems with fluctuating RPMs. The result is that I will be staying home today and taking it in first thing in the morning.
