*RING RING*

[You're receiving a call on your receiver phone. Oh, you don't have a receiver phone?  Apple Kid probably put it there, and Orange Kid hijacked the signal to it.]

Hello, this is Orange Kid!!  I haven't shown myself in quite a while. I've been hard at work with my greatest invention yet!! It's been tough, even with my amazing ( Read more... )

[BELIEVE IT OR NOT, HE CAN ACTUALLY SEE A BIT OF PRACTICALITY IN THE MACHINE. After all, what happens if someone who likes soft-boiled eggs accidentally overcooks it? No point in wasting an egg when you can just do it all over again!]

...Congratulations. I didn't know such a thing was possible, but...

Hey, do you think it can uncook other food, too?

Thank you, really! Sometimes, even I started to doubt myself!

What? No. That would be silly. Why would it do something like that?

Hmm... An excellent idea! I'm sure the mechanism used to send the eggs back in time to a point where they're unboiled could be easily adapted to other foods, as well!! Thank you for your brilliant suggestion! It's no wonder you're one of Ness's friends!

What are YOU talking about? My intelligence is fine! I'm the smartest person in the whole school, or at least smarter than YOU.

Oh, I'm sure. Why not enlighten me on all the inventions and scientific discoveries you've made, if you're so smart?

How many years have you been working on that invention?

cheap_oranges June 25 2010, 02:58:41 UTC
Quite a few. Why?

notstevejobs June 25 2010, 04:15:43 UTC
It had been so long, I just never thought you'd get it done.

Congratulations.

Yes, well, it was an intensely complex project, even for me. It's no easy feat to reverse the flow of time!

Wow, Orange Kid.

Where did this phone come from?

Anyway, that's real neat. Do you think it could un-rotten bad eggs as well?

cheap_oranges June 25 2010, 16:43:38 UTC
...I honestly have no idea!

But yes, it is VERY neat. I'm not entirely sure if it would be able to do that, but I don't really see why not! I'll have to run some more tests.
