Today is the 135th Kentucky Derby. I have conflicting emotions about horse racing and the Triple Crown. I like tradition, and the Derby is a part of my tradition. I think Lisa Loeb is a fantastic lyricist... but not so much on the musicianship. I could marvel at her simple-yet-profound lyrics for hours. (years, actually. been marveling at that one for years.)
