The Boston Globe is generally good about printing letters to the editor -- you should really send this to them. It's beautifully written.

(all the comments the online articles get are SO HORRIBLE, I can only read a few and then get so angry. So yeah maybe I will send this in.)

Well yeah, of course clean the language up a bit. ;)

The online comment areas are all cesspools, better to send it to the editor. And maybe cc the Ombudsman too, that person is supposed to keep an eye on how things are covered like this.

And seriously, "hookers" sex workers are ALWAYS fearing "who's next". It's like the media thinks sex workers just suddenly became aware of the fact that no one cares if some psychotic asshole kills them.

I'm on a media coverage of sex work hiatus. The whole Tom Dart and CL and Operation Cross Country fiasco is still wearing me down.
