Exactly one month ago I turned 21. Exactly 3 weeks I ordered this bass. They said I wouldnt get it until like June because it was on back stock, but today, one month after my birthday, I came home to find it waiting for me when I got out of class.

Theres this calendar thats been on my wall since last year, and its been six months since it was changed.

It was stuck up there by its own power, no pins or nails to hold it aloft. And it still displayed a month I'd rather not remember.

Six months have passed, so I fucking tore that thing down, and further into tiny pieces.

Goodbye past.

I let my rabbits free to the wild tonight. Its unrealistic to imagine they'll survive longer then a week, with a myriad of natural predators they've never in their lives had to avoid, but I'm optimistic that deforestation and destruction of natural habitats will ironically prolong their little lives.
