Well, I finally forced myself to finish the Black Cauldron. Eric kept steadily repeating "the books are WAY better" throughout the movie. I sure hope so because that was awful. So, it turns out that I'm a senior at UCSC. That means that after the graduate students and uber special early regs I get first crack at enrollment. Sweet! It took forever to get that at De Anza; I got it my first quarter at UCSC. Some days its good to be a slug.
"Instructions: Take a picture of yourself right now. Don't change your clothes, don't fix your hair - just take a picture. Post that picture with NO editing. Post these instructions with the picture"
I am trying to decide what to double major in. At this point it looks like either Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics or Molecular Biology and Biomolecular Engineering. Either way its looks like I'm going to be taking a few programming classes in the not-too-distant future. So much for being retired

I'm taking ecology this summer with one of my favorite professors. Only two weeks left once I get through tomorrow's test and so far its been pretty smooth sailing. In the meantime I've been jumping through all the hoops necessary for transfer to UC Santa Cruz in the fall. I'm enrolled in biochemistry, genetics and my last quarter of calculus.

So, when I read other people's livejournal entries, blogs, writing, etc. I tend to cross reference. Having heard the line "Hope springs eternal" many times before, I realized that I had no idea where it -actually- came from. I'm now about halfway through reading An Essay on Man by Alexander Pope. Awesome!
