What to do, what to do?
I am trying to decide what to double major in. At this point it looks like either Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics or Molecular Biology and Biomolecular Engineering. Either way its looks like I'm going to be taking a few programming classes in the not-too-distant future. So much for being retired...
On the upside I am almost finished with my Ecology class, only one week left. One presentation for our field project, one final field trip (to Monterey Bay Aquarium) and the last test (which is NOT a comprehensive final - hurray!) and I'm done! I'm staying down in Monterey the night before so that I don't have to drive down first thing in the morning to be there when the site opens.
On the downside I finally managed to convince my doctor/dentist that the tooth that the last root canal was in is most likely infected. So, a trip to the endodontist on Monday (bleh!). At best this means redoing the root canal and a new crown to follow. At worst I lose this tooth. This might not be too bad since the orthodontist wanted to take a tooth out on the bottom anyway to fix the overcrowding. *crosses fingers*
It also looks like I would be welcome on a few of the local tournament teams in the area. Finances being what they are I might not be able to join (unless I get an undergrad research position right away!), but its nice to be wanted :)
