Translation of Popolo July 2009: You get advice from all 5 of them on how to become a particular member's bride! XD They also talk about how their ideal wedding ceremony is like! :D ...And 2/5 members prefers NOT to have a wedding ceremony O.o (Make a guess, it's quite easy actually :p) And it's a rather long interview btw^^

I'm sorry, "Someone who has her own world" is a literal translation^-^;; I tried looking it up but I couldn't find what it means exactly or a proper way to translate it. From what I have gathered from Japanese blogs, it means having your own mindset, interests, knowing yourself & etc.

He watches movies very often, so someone who likes movies would be good. Because he watches movies even when he's alone, so if she can't spend this time with him, then the time spent on individual activities would increase [laughs]. He also likes reading books, but it's a pity that it can't be done together.

For criteria #1 & #2, the “as far as possible” is emphasized. If I have work early in the morning, she doesn’t have to force herself to wake up early. But if she wakes up with me, I’ll be very happy. As for cooking, I can cook but I’m bad at cleaning up, so I’ll leave that to her [laughs]. Also, I’m the type that has a hard time throwing things away, so I hope she’ll help me with cleaning up the house [laughs]. I’ll leave the wedding ceremony entirely to her. To be honest, I don’t have an image of how it is like at all. And besides, I think a wedding ceremony is something done for her & her parents. For me, I'd like to have an afterparty with my family & acquaintances. As for the number of guests, it’ll vary depending on the people who are around me at that point in time. Time for myself is important
First of all, I think it’s better if my marriage partner is a female [laughs]. Though ultimately, it has nothing to do with the sex/gender. Criterion #2 is because I use Japanese to communicate. Though you can communicate with body language, but it’ll be tough for marriage life, wouldn’t it? Speaking of which, Arashi fans overseas are really good in Japanese, I’m surprised. Also, if you can give me time to play games or read manga (comics) & not disturb me when I’m doing that, I’ll be satisfied [laughs].

I’ll try my best for the sake of filial piety
If possible, I don’t want to have a wedding ceremony. I’m not interested in it either, it’s more like “I’ll do my best for the sake of filial piety”. So I guess doing it the way my parents want it would be good. Though in my family’s case, I think my parents would want my older sister to get married first [laughs]. When my sister gets married, I can find out about my parents’ ideals (on a wedding ceremony) & I’ll use that as a reference.

Do not worry about getting tanned & have fun fishing with Riida!

An outdoor person
In the past, my image of him was that he’s the type that will coop himself up at home. But now he’s totally into fishing, so an outdoor person will suit him better. Do not be too concerned about getting tanned & have fun with him when you guys go out together. If you don’t want to get tanned, just conscientiously apply sun block lotion [laughs].

Having so many people congratulating me is embarrassing [laughs]. So I’d prefer to just gather some friends, have a meal together & end it there. Don’t I want to see my wife in a wedding dress? Even if she doesn’t wear one, I can imagine it, so it’s okay! [laughs]

I can take almost any type of Miso soup. Besides that, I prefer to have a clean room, so someone who can clean would good. Well, if there are times when you don’t want to clean, you can just pretend you didn’t see it (that the room is dirty) [laughs]. And someone who always smiles.

For me, I want to do a small party for all the people who want to congratulate me. But I don’t have a clear vision of how it is like. It definitely has to be someone who likes animals right? He has a pet at home & after getting married, he seems like the type who would want to keep a pet. It’s easy for me to imagine Aiba-chan walking the dog. Well, if possible, I hope he doesn’t keep an ostrich or something as a pet [laughs].
*LOL* Ostrich? XD Somehow, I think Aiba's house would be like a zoo :p
3 criteria to be my bride
1. Someone who can make Miso soup
2. Someone who is good at cleaning
3. Someone who always smiles
I can take any kind of Miso soup!
I drink Miso soup almost everyday, so it’d be good if she can make Miso soup. As for the the ingredients, anything will do. At Aiba’s house, we even put natto (fermented soybeans) [laughs]. I can take almost any type of Miso soup. Besides that, I prefer to have a clean room, so someone who can clean would good. Well, if there are times when you don’t want to clean, you can just pretend you didn’t see it (that the room is dirty) [laughs]. And someone who always smiles.
As the saying goes: The way to a man's heart is through his stomach! Aiba-wifeys, learn how to cook Miso soup & karaage!!! XD
Ideal wedding ceremony
The way which my bride wants it
For me, I want to do a small party for all the people who want to congratulate me. But I don’t have a clear vision of how it is like. And I think a wedding ceremony is something for the bride to begin with. If she says she want to do it, she can wear both Japanese & Western style wedding dresses. I’ll leave everything to her & I think I’ll do as she says [laughs].
