I am currently the big bad in Floss’s eyes :-( Her annual check-up this year reported that teeth cleaning was a must asap, as was the extraction of several teeth. So yesterday she went in for a general anaesthetic and the required surgery and cleaning. Bacchus and I went to Cambodia earlier on this year for a holiday. Today I finally downloaded the photos from the second memory card and went through them and the first lot weeding out ones which didn't turn out so well. I can’t quite believe Summerfest has been and gone for another year, though the piles of washing I’ve had and boxes to put away prove it. As usual I have no clue what the plot was, but people seemed to be having a good time and that’s the main thing*.

Not content with just seeing Maiden at Download this year, pwibethran and I went to see them at the O2 yesterday, for the last night of their Maiden England tour. Having failed to get tickets for Saturday, I was very pleased when they announced the additional date and even more pleased when it turned out the seats we’d got were the best I’ve ever had.
