but seriously, i understand the frustration/inevitability of losing all the stuff you have now and the relationships you know, but the truth is, that change is just a part of growing up. And really, you don't have to loose everything if you don't want to. It is possible to stay in contact with people after high school if you really want to. My step dad and his best friend since 6th grade are still best friends. My mom still talks to her best friend from high school.
