Oh I didn't like him hitting the boy but I like that Mal comforted him and got him to tell his name.:-) I also like Mal talking about the crew. Wonderful in the descriptions. Wonderful.

I liked Mal very much in this, kept it from being all avoidance and pent-up anxieties filling the scene
Jayne is not a soft touch, no one living as he has truly is... sad but true.

Gus just was quiet, but he felt very present to me, and well, there he is >:0)

I like Gus too, I don't envy him his position, but I like him. He will be an interesting man when he is grown...
