In middle and high school, I was part of a band for seven years. I mean like, symphonic and marching band, not in a cool rock band/acappella group like you. ;) We were really good, too, one of the best in the state. Our instructor had something like a 33-year streak of straight superiors at every district competition. Hell yes. With marching band, it was like an all-night high that kept going for like another hour and half even after I got home and it was near midnight and I'd been up since 5 a.m. And then the exhaustion would hit, and I'd pass out hard. Sometimes right on the carpet, in the nasty clothes I'd worn under my uniform. Lol ( ... )
