*giggles and blushes* Thanks Kristen; have you finished it yet?
As for recs, have you read all of the Big Bang fics? You could also try irony_rocks on lj. She writes good long fics (but she's leaving the fandom *sob* don't blame her, but...) I do know that there's also new Ren fic in the works, but it's going to take a while (aka, six months, maybe) due to writer fatigue.
There are a couple more that I know about that are good, but I can't seem to remember the precise titles/authors off the top of my head. These people also tend to be hardcore Sparky shippers. What kinds of stories are you looking for (gen, romance, h/c, whump, AU), and if applicable, what kind of ships?
(Oh, and I'm totally in for Richard/Kahlan fic. She's a kickass beauty.)
I read the first half that you posted to lj a few weeks ago, but hasn't read the second half yet. I'm currently reading Qui Habitat by Domenika Marzione. The language is gorgeous to that fic.
*facepalm* I can't believe I forgot about the Big Bang fics. I'll have to go hunting through them. Irony_rocks is leaving the fandom? =( Do I want to know why? I'm looking for all of the above. As long as the ship is well written and the author can sell me on the pairing, I'm not picky on who is romancing who.
I haven't read that (and I probably won't because it's full-on angst), but she is a wonderful writer who really brings the military side of Atlantis to life. I adore her Lorne and Co stories. You totally have to read "Custer's Last Stand," "Praxis" and "Never Go In Against a Sicilian When Death Is On the Line" or... okay, I'm going to stop, because I'm a total Domenika Marzione fan girl. (She's miss_porcupine on lj, if you want to be up to date on all of her writing.) But, yeah, she's *amazing
( ... )
This is one of the best military-esque story I've read. I didn't know there were a series of Lorne stories. Squeee! I look forward to the list. =)
I've drifted away from a few fandoms myself over the past ten years to know how it feels like to drift away. Heck, I've been seeing the warning signs about myself and Numb3rs for months now. I stick around for you guys and the promise I made to myself that I was going to finish my monster fic. Yes it happens and there are always new fandoms which take their place.
You're telling me you watched the last half of Revenant in the same room as your parents? That takes guts. I've never seen a more OTP than Richard and Kahlan.
