Whenever I think about Teddy Lupin, I imagine an adorable, soft, harmless werewolf puppy. That's pretty bad considering that, you know, he's supposed to be a person. He just seems like a cuddly teddy bear to me!
I kept having inappropriate mental images whilst I was reading Deathly Hallows, actually. For example, at this point in the book - "Our Headmaster is taking a short break," said Professor McGonagall, pointing at the Snape-shaped hole in the window - I couldn't stop myself from giggling. Mainly because I imagined it like this.
Exactly! He's a cuddly person-puppy-teddy-bear thing! Poor boy. ;)
*LOL* That is brilliant! Looney Tunes style holes will never ever stop being funny. ;) Sort of ruins the tense atmosphere, but then that was ruined with McGonagall saying "The headmaster has done a bunk". Oh, McG. ;)
... And I still don't get it. I mean, yeah, the orphan thing sort of makes sense and it is a cute name, but... I still don't see why it would evoke this amount of squee. But... never mind. At least we agree on Timmy/Donald. ;)
I think I've just been a bit bored at work and thought about it too much.
This is the most plausible reason I've heard so far. ;P
