The Oscars were this weekend??? Why must there be so much money and time wasted on such frivolous stuff?? Take that money and and get all those people to volunteer to build shelters, food pantries.... I dunno, put it towards paying down the national debt.

ah, crazy.

Oh, and they "didn't have time" to add Maude or Farrah?? Really?? Try cutting back on all the other crap... like Steve & Alex or Dancing Dr Doogie.

I was thinking the same thing -- then I remembered that the reason actors are so moving and entertaining usually is because they have writers and that the Oscars is pretty much a demo of what happens when you just have entertainers and no writing.
