Hair today, gone tomorrow.

So my single bedroom home has finally been recognized as a two bedroom, at least according to the guy who looked at it today for the refinance. Yeah, that room upstairs that runs the length of the house that my son resides in, yeah, that's now a bedroom. lol

Yesterday I took note that Monsanto sponsors Marketplace on NPR. So when a segment came on ( Read more... )

Hm, I have been putting hair clippings into my compost and in the front bush (for the birds) ever since we bought the house. Hair is organic and full of proteins so figured it would at least be a good filler.

Monsanto is notorious for GM products (thtt's genetically modified, not vehicle-related). Big soy company.

I cannot imagine what my credit report looks like with Mr. Credit card in tow. BTW, the iphone bill runs about 250.00

I saw that Twilight was published in SLC and wondered if Mormonism might explain why 1) that the male characters are Godlike, ,and 2) why that the women characters are not.

LOL! I guess the female characters do become a bit more godlike in the later books. They did say that the strong family ties that he vampires and the werewolves have are Mormon influenced, as are the ideas of an 'eternal' family. It was interesting. I've read all but the last of the Orson Scott Card series Tales of Alvin Maker, and he is also a Mormon which I didn't know at the time, but now it makes a lot of sense.

I had similar experiences with my credit report. I want to know why the heck a company can provide a rating about YOU using YOUR personal data, financial information, and history and then CHARGE you to find out what it is.

I'm going to send them a bill demanding payment for the rights to hold and store my financial data. It's mine. I gave no consent for them to do this. I'm going to charge THEM for the privilege.

How about a class action suit? You want in?

-Gleno now knowns as "Wolfgaar" because some other shumuck is already using "Gleno."

Cool, you have an LJ identity. I took Gleno by the way, just to piss you off.
I looked at the report again last night, only to see that the credit card they based my ratings on is one I don't even freaking USE anymore. I used it to pay for a few on line things, and I cant even find the damn thing now. My constantly used credit card is not even on there. God bless the banking system, it's going to need it.
