Some people don't understand fanfiction. But this right here? This is a a beautiful and heartbreaking example of why it can be amazing and wonderful and necessary. I have literal tears, I am such a fucking woobie and I am going to go hug my cat now. T__T

Please do go hug your cat. Everyone needs to hug their cat at least once a day. Or dog, if they happen to have a dog. Or whatever pet (unless it's a snake or tarantula or something not conducive to hugging, in which case, I would say love from a distance is best).

so yeah. not gonna lie, totally started crying at the end of this. i've had to put down three pets (two dogs and one cat - also an orange tabby), so reading this just made me think of all the times i've gone through this. ;_____;
