Being overly emotional
Haven’t written in here recently but I have so much on my mind that I need to make an entry, even if nobody reads this anymore.

Time for another update because I have lots to share.
I’m teaching full-time now, and am starting to realize just how much teachers have to keep track of. We assign homework every night and do a graded warm-up activity everyday that means at least two things to grade for every class period…not to mention if they have a quiz. LU Update
Chemistry for Educators- I am the ONLY Middle School concentrators out of 60 students. The professor is really nice and enthusiastic and seems organized.
Classroom Assessment- I am one of about 3 Middle School concentrators out of 25. The professor rambles on and on…he took 35 minutes to take the role.

I’m still in denial that school starts in less than a week.
Packing has been really really easy since ½ of my stuff is in storage, I should have gotten a storage unit for freshman and sophomore year too…oh well. Nationals Game:
*Had to teach Ben the basics about Metro…pretty funny actually.
*Walked around DC to go to a restaurant which the service, and food, was sub-par.
*Went to the game-good time overall…except that we lost and there were more Cub fans than Nat fans….kinda depressing

Life In the Past Few Weeks
Subbing - Been pretty busy lately with all the jobs I took on. It’s good but I realized that I wasn’t having as much fun at the end of the week when I was burned out and tired. Notes about Subbing, Jon and Student Teaching
I’ve been doing a lot of subbing- well not a lot but I take as many jobs as I can. Elementary subbing is almost harder than middle school. At least in middle school you only have a 60-minute lesson plan to follow and then repeat the rest of the day.
