Some of you know that Masa's grandfather passed way a couple of weeks ago. From the fraction I have learned from Masa about Japanese Buddhist funerals, that fraction alone is a LOT of work, who knows what else needs to be done. This past weekend Masa came to visit. He took the evil night bus from Yokohama to Takamatsu and he arrived in Takamatsu at 8am. I had Kindergarten so he ate udon and walked to my home and went to bed (So hard to sleep on the night bus). Monday was the most delicious Monday ever. It was a long weekend and lots of teachers went on business trips or travelled so the omiyage (obligatory snacks) were flowing, some were on my desk when I arrived and others were being passed out all morning, myself included I did my fair share of handing out snacks.
